Developed for a customer in the fluid handling industry, this project had very high requirements for stroke and force. The goal was to replace a motor and gear drive assembly with a direct drive solenoid. It is to driven by a complex and adjustable power supply and has a very low duty cycle to prevent the build-up of excessive heat.
