This customer needed a small, low profile holding magnet to fit within their product. A prolonged search of standard products failed to provide them a product that would fit the available footprint. We designed an electromagnet to fit their application, with the high holding forces required. We also help with the development of a voltage driving technique to prevent excess heat buildup.
